The Cornwall Pass revolution – the smart way to save money in Cornwall.

The Cornwall Pass is a totally new way to enjoy savings across Cornwall. The Cornwall Pass is a discount card that is accepted at participating businesses all over Cornwall from Attractions and Restaurants through to Accommodation, Activities, Historic sites and places to visit, Shopping and many others.

The participating businesses discount levels.

The minimum level of discount you will save is 10%, however, many businesses offer 15% or more and some over 25%, so please click on the buttons below to see the businesses where you can save more money.

 

Examples of savings you can make.

Every participating business offers a minimum of a 10% discount or the equivalent, however, some offer higher levels of discount. Every participating business has a listing on both the website and the free Participating booklet you will receive with your Cornwall Pass, that details their offering and any exclusions.

Below is an example of a Cafe - Bar business listing on the Restaurants page.

In this case the participating business is providing a 10% discount off the total order value when dining but excludes all take away food and drinks prior to dining, therefore if two people dined here and spend £20.00, you would save £2.00, if four people dined you would save £4.00, etc.

Other Dining examples.

If two people dine in a participating restaurant, the average cost for the food would be around £40.00 and a 10% discount equates to £4.00. The savings become higher when four people go out for dinner as the total cost would be around £80.00 which saves £8.00 at 10%, etc.

Taxis.

As an added bonus, if you use one of our participating taxi companies to go to the restaurant you can also save 10% with them as well so as you can see, you only have to dine a few times during to recoup the cost of your Pass.

Shopping.

We are adding new businesses every week and are adding more shopping and retail businesses so you can save money on many other things. If you buy your bread and related products at Rowes Bakeries for example you will save 10% on your order up to £15.00 and 15% on everything over that amount so if you are a resident you could easily save £1.00 a day, every day.

Attractions.

If you are on holiday you will want to take your children to the attractions and this is where the Cornwall Pass can provide some very significant savings as visiting attractions with your family can be quite expensive. Using your Cornwall Pass can easily save you £10.00 or more per visit and as you can use it as many times as you want and it covers up to 5 people, you could save a lot more and remember, you can visit as many participating attractions as you like so you could potentially save £60.00 or more a week just on attraction visits. Factor in the savings you will make on dining as well and you can easily save £20.00 every day.

Hotels and accommodation.

If you stay at a participating Hotel with the average cost of a room being £75.00 per night, you can save £7.50 or more per day and maybe a discount off the cost of diner if you dine there, subject to the participating businesses offer. Of course, if you are staying with your family or a group of 5 people , the savings could be a lot higher and remember, you can use your Pass as many times as you want so you could save on the cost of your stay, the attractions you visit and dining.

Holiday parks and camp sites - savings of £100.00 are easily possible.

In the high season a stay at a Holiday Park can cost around £600.00 per week, so if you visited one of our participating venues, you could save up to £60.00 just off the cost of your stay, however, this just for your stay, if you add dining and visiting a few attractions into the equation, you could easily save £100.00 plus a week.

The more you use your Cornwall Pass the more you save.

The above examples give you an indication of the levels of savings you can achieve by using your Cornwall Pass. The actual level of savings depends on the number of times you use your Pass and the the amount you spend at each business, but as there are absolutely no restrictions on the number of times you use it, the more participating businesses you visit, the greater your savings will be and you can very easily recoup the cost of your Pass on just one visit to a participating business.

The cost of a Cornwall Pass.

If you are a visitor to Cornwall you can purchase either a 7 or 14 day Pass for the duration of your stay. These cost £7.00 for up to 7 days and £10.00 for up to 14 days. If you are a Cornish resident your Pass is valid for 12 months and costs just £20.00. The Cornwall Pass covers up to 5 people and there are no restrictions on the number of times you use it.

Using your Cornwall Pass is very easy. There are no restrictions on how many times you can use it so just go to any of our participating businesses show them your Cornwall Pass and receive the relevant discount. It is that simple and every participating businesses discount is listed in the free booklet and on our website on the Participating Businesses page or use the category links on the right so you will always know where you can save money.
